Pentland Ferries are currently looking for a permanent Steward to work on their busy passenger ro-ro service on the Pentland Firth Route onboard the MV Pentalina.
Our crews work on an even time rota. Wages will be paid at a competitive rate plus a workplace pension and discounted travel on the ferry. (Details can be provided to suitable candidates on request).
Applicants must be trained to STCW 95 standard (PST, PSSR, First-Aid and Fire-Fighting) and hold a valid medical certificate (ENG1). It would be an advantage to hold the following certificates but not essential (Designated Security Duties, Crowd Control and Crisis Management). It would be an advantage to hold a Food Hygiene Certificate but not essential as training will be given.
We would also welcome applications for any candidates interested in seasonal Steward positions on the company’s new build, Alfred, for the summer of 2019.
