SJ Omand is a busy, friendly, family run surveying business located in Victoria Street in Kirkwall. We require a full-time permanent Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will enjoy dealing with the public and really thrive in working in a friendly and busy local business with a job that brings real variety and responsibility.
- Answering phones
- Responding to emails
- Arranging appointments
- Taking valuation / surveying instructions
- Maintaining Excel spreadsheets
- Booking surveys
- Processing valuations
- Taking payments
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident in dealing with the public
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Customer service and administration experience gained through employment or further / higher education is essential
- Experience of working in a surveying environment would be desirable however we welcome applicants from any industry and will provide full training in surveying administration.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5
Salary: Commensurate with experience
