We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our friendly team in St. Margaret’s Hope. Operations Manager is a senior role in the Company which involves overseeing the day to day running of the ferry service. It's the Operations Manager's responsibility to make sure the service is running as efficiently as it possibly can, and meets the expectations and needs of our customers.
The characteristics we are looking for in the successful applicant are; organised, enthusiastic, professional, reliable, able to adapt to different situations and cope under pressure.
The skills the successful applicant needs to have are; experience in managing people, good communication skills, problem solving, computer skills, technical knowledge and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Responsibilities will include staff rotas, customer relations and monitoring the company’s booking system.
This post is a permanent contract of 40 hrs per week (hours and days flexible). Monthly visits to Gills Bay will be required. Rate of pay is dependent on experience and can be discussed with suitable applicants.
Maritime experience is not essential.
