Due to further expansion of their service team, they now have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to be based in North Scotland. Ideally within a commutable location to Fort William
Area Coverage - Fort William, North Scotland and surrounding areas
This opportunity would suit either an experienced Fork Lift Engineer, Service Engineer, or Plant Fitter
As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
Servicing and repair of their equipment on site.
Ordering of parts as efficiently as possible & ensure all stock levels/movement records are accurate & correct.
Ensure all paperwork is completely accurately and within the stipulated time period and with the relevant order numbers.
Maintain a safe working environment & work in a safe manner.
Attend training courses to maintain up to date knowledge of equipment.
To be successful in the role the Field Service Engineer will have:
NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical, Vehicle or Plant Maintenance
Experience in Engines, Diagnostics, Electrics, Diagnostics, Hydraulics etc
Background as a Field Service Engineer or Plant Fitter
Excellent customer facing skills
Computer literate with experience in using a laptop
