The Skin Clinic was launched by Catherine Webb in November 2015 and is now a well established Beauty Therapy salon in the centre of Kirkwall offering a full complement of beauty therapy and complementary therapy treatments from a number of therapists. The Skin Clinic currently have an opening for a full-time or part-time Beauty Therapist to join their team in Kirkwall.

Tips and commission on product sales also top up your salary to a highly competitive take-home pay. In addition to this the successful candidate will be paid to attend a 5 day Environ course in either London, Leeds or Edinburgh and on-site training will be provided in a number of products and techniques that are unique in Orkney to the Skin Clinic. You will also receive full insurance cover, a uniform and any additional necessary training. Should you prefer to work on a self-employed basis this can also be negotiated.
Key requirements: The key requirements of this role are to be qualified to level III, HNC or HND and your main responsibilities will be to deliver beauty treatments such as facials, waxing, massage, eye treatments, manicures, pedicures etc. There is potential to deliver SHR hair removal once training is completed. Although the ideal candidate would be qualified to level III, anyone at the early stages of their Beauty Therapy training are welcome to apply.
